So in short I've started a 6 week trial of various steroids, sprays and rinses to see if it can cure my Anosmia that I've had since I was born. Earlier on in the week I attended an ENT Specialist for the first time about this, don't ask me why I'm only looking into this now.
Seemingly I have chronic Rhinosinusitis and a deviated septum. He prescribed the above 6 week course to see if that will help with the Rhinosinusitis and in the mean time I've to go in for a CT Scan on Thursday, my birthday (11/08) of all days.
Interesting times ahead that's for sure. To smell for the first time would indeed be a present to remember, and for most that's something you can't comprehend I'm sure.
Freshly cut grass, roast chicken, bread baking and all these other smells I hear about all the time but have no idea what they are like.
